Welcome to my Cedar Point page. I just wanted to dedicate a page of my site to the best amusement park on the earth, Cedar Point. Cedar Point is located in Sandusky on the shores of Lake Erie in northwestern Ohio. Cedar Point is 4 time owner of the World's Tallest Roller Coaster. In 1978, the 121 foot tall Gemini opened up as the world's tallest and fastest roller coaster. 11 years later, the Magnum XL-200 opened up at 205 feet, being the first and only coaster over 200 ft. In 2000, Cedar Point introduced yet again another world record coaster. The Millennium Force debuted with a height of 310 feet, 92 miles per hour and an 80 degree angle first hill drop. They were sadly outdone by Steel Dragon 2000 at Spa Land in Japan. In 2003, Cedar Point fired back in 2003 by opening Top Thrill Dragster. Top Thrill Dragster is 420 feet and accelerates from 0 to 120 miles per hour in 4 seconds! While Dragster is no longer the tallest, the coaster collection at Cedar Point can't be beat anywhere else.
